Friday Flash Fiction
I have a separate page dedicated to the Friday Flash Fiction project. At the time of writing I have about fifty pieces of fiction available to read on this blog, and if you want to read any of my recent stories this is the best place to go! I’m quite proud of a lot of the flash fiction that I’ve written over the last few years, and feel that the lack of pressure has allowed me to have a lot of fun and experiment with my writing. Please, have a read.

Non-Fiction Publications
Have a look at the book, music or disc reviews pages to see info on some of the hundred-odd reviews I’ve written.
A column, Some Other Advice About Writing, was published in the August 2006 issue of the Science Fiction & Fantasy Workshop newsletter (#298). Another column, Recommended Books On Writing, was published in the July 2006 issue of the Science Fiction & Fantasy Workshop newsletter (#297).
See the pages linked to above for all of my reviews to date (mostly books but some music, games and film as well). I think the newer reviews are pretty good, and the older ones less so.
I had a range of live music reviews, record reviews, and ‘what’s on’ columns published in The Badger, the University of Sussex Students’ Union newspaper, between 7th November 2001 and 13th March 2002. Prior to that a column, Websurf, was published in Adhoc #1 (August 1999) and Adhoc #2 (September 1999) – earning me my first money from writing. All of this stuff was pretty awful.
I’ve posted a short list of general writings tips here.
