F3: Flash Fiction

Friday Flash Fiction was a weekly affair in which a bunch of writers posted a piece of flash fiction to their blogs on a Friday. Originally proposed by Gareth Lyn Powell in Autumn 2007, there have been about fifteen known participants and in the region of several hundred stories have been posted. Most of us have since given up the practice but it was Illuminations covergood fun for a couple of years.

In 2008 a Friday Flash Fiction anthology was published by Odd Two Out. Check it out here – it features over 60 stories from the first nine participants and was launched at Orbital convention 2008. All profits go to the NSPCC and if that’s not enough to persuade you to investigate, I can threaten to kill some kittens.

Links to the current F3 member roster, and a list of my posted flash fiction to date, follow.
